This circuit-style class incorporates weight-bearing and strength training exercises combined with balance and flexibility components to improve bone density and reduce the risk of fractures. This group is perfect for all ages and abilities,- it's never too early to build those bones!

This 60 minute strength training class will introduce you to the use of kettlebells, barbells, dumbbells, and more! You will learn proper form for using bells and bars, progressing through functional movements then eventually adding an element of power to the lifts, as you feel comfortable. Each month is focused on a new type of lift (ie Squatting) and is led by a personal trainer who will watch your form, give you tips, and provide alternative options if you don’t like it!

This class offers a refreshing approach to weight training for cis men, trans men, and masculine of center nonbinary people, creating a supportive environment free from toxic masculinity and unwanted 'gym bro' culture. The workout is designed to be inclusive and adaptable for all fitness levels.

Each session focuses on building full-body strength through a combination of dumbbell exercises, body weight movements, core work, and cardio elements. The fast-paced environment emphasizes proper form, powerful movements, and mutual encouragement.

Participants can expect to develop physical strength while simultaneously building self-confidence and a sense of personal safety. Participants are invited to bring their authentic selves, understanding that masculinity, vulnerability and strength can coexist powerfully. Attendees will leave the session feeling sweaty, stronger, and emotionally uplifted - a testament to the class's commitment to transformative, compassionate fitness for radically kind people.

At the studio from 11am-12:30pm, swap cookies with other community members and share in the holiday spirit!

What to bring: 4 dozen cookies, a spare platter for collecting other cookies, and an allergy card

This event will have allergies so please come only if you feel safe!
